A local choir based at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington is about to make its voice heard again - but it urgently needs MORE voices!
The lockdown and restrictions have impacted heavily on all choirs but now the Landmark Sound , a mixed choir, is issuing a big shout out saying: WE NEED YOU.
The Teddington choir has a desperate shortage of male voices specifically and it is hoped that more men will come forward as life slowly returns to normal.
Dominique Pollard, Learning and Participation Manager at the Landmark said: "Landmark Sound is our original choir and it is very important to us and members that it survives.
"It's open to all, there's no audition and you don't need to be able to read music.
"You can just come along and see how it goes. Often people don't think they can sing at all and then they are very pleasantly surprised.
"You may discover a new talent as well as meet a bunch of new friends at the same time."
The new choir season is due to start on Tuesday, 7th September between 7.30pm and 9.00pm.
The 13-week term ends with a special 'sharing' performance for friends and family.
