This weekend is the King's Head Pub's 14th birthday, so we thought we'd let you know what they've got going on at the moment.
First things first, to celebrate its birthday, The King's Head has Miss Fu-Sion performing live music tomorrow, 20 September with happy hour running all day, and is giving free ice cream out on Sunday, 22 September.
It is also national Negroni week, so the pub is offering free negronis with every meal for the rest of the week, including classic negronis, Aperol negronis, and long negronis.
On top of this, there is also a deal on Aperol Sprits' for just £5 for the rest of the week.
What's more is that the pub is changing its food menu with a return to French brasserie-style meals created by Raymond Blanc, one of few missionary star chefs in the country.
These dishes will be fully plated, making them "better value for money as there will be no need for side plates," says General Manager Harriet Walker, who has worked at the pub since its opening day.
The King's Head is also launching its autumn/ winter menu next week, which will include grilled hot smoke ChalkStream trout, wild mushroom tartine, beetroot terrine, celaric fondant, steak, and a dessert called Autumn still life.
Autumn still life is a chestnut parfait with meringue, frosted pecan, vanilla and cocoa tuile, and a chocolate mousse and crumb.
Harriet told Teddington Nub News that the autumn menu is her favourite menu as "the ingredients are better".
Finally, the pub has steak night each Wednesday whereby you can get a free bottle of wine and free dips when you order two steaks, can't say no really.
The King's Head is one of our lovely sponsors; without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to Teddington.
