The much-anticipated Teddington Christmas Lights up is on this evening and there's lots going on.

So, here's an outline of what to expect.

From 4.30pm – 7.30pm there will be a Santa's Grotto at The King's Head pub on Teddington High Street.

Also starting at 4.30pm and running until 4.55pm, there will be the Lantern Parade with Teddington & Hampton Rotary Club and Teddington Rugby.

The Lantern Parade will begin on Church Road and proceed along Broad Street.

From 4pm – 7pm there will be children's rides in the Cedar Road Car Park, and from 5pm – 7pm the Teddington RNLI and a fire engine will be next to The King's Head and Holmes & Daughters.

On the High Street, the lights switch on with NPL and the Mayor will take place at 6pm and Teddingtones Choir will be singing from 6pm – 7.30pm.

There will also be a variety of stalls up.

What's more is that The Builders Arms pub on Field Lane is reopening at 5pm and Teddington Memorial Hospital's League of Friends is hosting an event at Shambles Wine Bar.

Finally, new this year, there will be an elf hunt for which you can collect entry at Teddington Con Club and Holmes & Daughters.

Sound's great, doesn't it?

But the Lights up wouldn't be the same without its sponsors, Coversure Teddington, an independent brokers; Teddington Lottery; Cento Uno; and more.
