The Autumn Internationals are just around the corner, and what better way to enjoy the match than with some pre-match grub?

To help you decide where to go, Teddington Nub has rounded up a list of pubs and restaurants in the area that are offering pre-match meals.

The Wharf, Teddington

On Wednesday 30 October, the Wharf Bar and Restaurant in Teddington is offering rugby fans a pre-match dinner event.

England's World Cup winner Joe Worsley will be one of SporTedd's special guests at the event.

The former Wasps flanker will be joined by others, including former Wasps, England and Gloucester player Mark Atkinson who retired in March 2024 after 170 appearances for the Cherry and Whites due to a long-term knee injury.

Alongside dinner, The Wharf will also previewing England's big Autumn Internationals against New Zealand, Australia, Japan and South Africa.

Since inception, SporTedd has distributed nearly £100,000 to help local schools and clubs make sport available to everyone, particularly the less privileged.

With this event The Wharf will exceed the £100k mark; an achievement that SporTedd members can be enormously proud of.

The event is priced at £75 per head and includes a three-course dinner with ½ bottle of wine.

Arrival is at 7pm, with dinner at 8pm, and carriages at 11pm.

The Kings Head, Teddington

This November, you can join The King's Head team in preparing for the Autumn Internationals 2024 with a bespoke menu that shows off the best of the pub's food and drinks, leaving you and your mates to enjoy the rugby at Twickenham.

The King's Head's Autumn menu includes grilled hot smoke ChalkStream trout, wild mushroom tartine, beetroot terrine, celaric fondant, steak, and a dessert called Autumn still life.

Autumn still life is a chestnut parfait with meringue, frosted pecan, vanilla and cocoa tuile, and a chocolate mousse and crumb.

The Angler's pub, Teddington Lock

The Anglers at Teddington Lock is the "perfect' place to catch all the action from the Autumn Nations Series with its fine dining menu.

Angler's will be showing all the matches throughout November, starting with the England vs New Zealand match on 2 November at 3.10pm.

M at the Crane Tap, Twickenham

M restaurant chane provides Twickenham's finest hospitality experience from its base opposite Twickenham station, just a few minutes' walk from the stadium gates.

Included in M's Autumn Internationals package is a "legendary" drinks reception, including unlimited beers, Guinness and cocktails, the opportunity to mingle with Simon Shaw and his band of retired rugby internationals.

Then follows the pre-match lunch of dreams: three courses of M-grade cuisine, always including the plate-busting giant Tomahawk steak, chips and delicious sauces.

While you dine, Shawsey will conduct a Q&A with the ex-pros, looking at the game ahead, telling hilarious tales of times on tour and giving you the opportunity to ask anything about the match and the players' careers.

Pre-Match Insight

Guests can enjoy interviews, Q&A and match predictions with Shawsey and a panel of rugby legends, telling their hilarious tales of times on tour.

Match Day Lunch

Before heading to the big game, guests can enjoy three-courses of M-grade cuisine featuring M's plate-busting giant Tomahawk steak, chips and delicious sauces.

After Party

At the after party, guests can enjoy a Q&A and post-match analysis with an esteemed panel of rugby legends followed by 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks, burgers, and pies.

Like with the Angler's, M will be showing all the Autumn Internationals matches, starting from England vs New Zealand on 2 November.
