Churchyard Social
Thursday 5 August, St Mary with St Alban Church, 5.30pm-dusk.
We are having a bit of a social from 5.30pm 'til dusk.
Bring your children and your friends. Dogs very welcome too.
Come and enjoy a glass of something, a few nibbles and a walk through the churchyard to consider what's working well and what could do with a bit more love. Perhaps whilst you are there, enjoying this surprisingly sociable space, you'd like to share your thoughts or be inspired over something you could take on.
Come anyway, and enjoy this beautiful space. All replies and queries to Alexandra Ruffer: [email protected]
Emma Smith and Jamie Safir
Thursday 5 September, The Jazz Sanctuary, The Turks Head, Twickenham, doors open: 7.15pm.
Join the sensational, award-winning Jazz Singer, Emma Smith and her long-time musical collaborator, Jamie Safir for an intimate evening of music, song and chat.
Following on from last year's critically acclaimed album "Meshuga Baby" and having just returned from a triumphant 2024 world tour with American Supergroup, Post Modern Jukebox, Emma is about to release her new album, "Hat Trick" in September.
This will, without doubt, be an unforgettable and joyous evening of jazz with superb reimagining of beloved classics. Don't miss out on this opportunity to witness Emma's timeless voice and charismatic stage presence in person!
Dinosaur Weekend
Saturday 7 September - Sunday 8 September, Hampton Kempton Waterworks Railway, 1030am-4pm.
Come along and meet 'Dino' our very friendly dinosaur train! There's a Hunt the Dinosaur competition with prizes, a lovely grassy area with picnic tables, a play train, and a woodland walk, so don't forget to pack your picnic.
It's free parking and ice creams, drinks and snacks are available. Book now to avoid disappointment.
