Teddington pub to host a variety of events this winter
A pub in Teddington is hosting a variety of events this winter.
Next month, from Friday, 17 October – 25 October, The Anglers will be hosting Oktoberfest celebrations.
The event description says: "The night promises a true Oktoberfest experience, complete with live music performed by the incredible 'Wunderbrass' Oompah Band. Known for their high-energy performances and traditional Bavarian tunes, they're sure to get the crowd singing, dancing, and clinking steins all night long.
"Your ticket includes not only fantastic entertainment but also your first stein of beer and a delicious bratwurst and sauerkraut supper. It's the perfect way to immerse yourself in the spirit of the season—great food, great company, and a lively atmosphere.

And on 22 October, The Anglers will be offering punters a sneak peak of what is to come at the pub this Christmas with a Christmas Showcase.
Festive food and drinks will be available.
For Halloween, The Anglers is hosting local charity, Silver Lining's Halloween party on Friday, 31 October.
THe party, which is for over 18s only will run from 7pm - 1am.
Tickets to the party will cost £15 for a limited time only, before they increase to £20 - all ticket proceeds will go directly to the Royal Marsden Cancer charity.
Halloween costumes are encouraged and a free drink will be given to everyone who attends in costume.

Moreover, on Sunday, 2 November, The Anglers will be hosting its annual Charity Fireworks Night in aid of the Teddington Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
At the event, there will be entertainment, pizza, wings, hog roast, glow sticks and goodies, a full bar, mulled wine, and hot and soft drinks available.
Entry to the event costs £10 for over 16s and 50 per cent of ticket sales will be donated to charity.
The Anglers raised £3k last year (2024), but this year, it says it is "aiming higher".
Following its Christmas Showcase, The Anglers will kick off its festive celebrations with a Christmas Supper & Quiz in aid of the Teddington RNLI on 21 November.
Tickets cost £29.50 per person, which includes a tasty sharer starter, a main of your choice, and plenty of fun in the lively quiz. Best of all, £12.50 from every ticket goes straight to support RNLI Teddington's vital lifesaving work.
The event description says; "With great food, plenty of laughs, and the chance to make a real difference, this is the perfect way to start the season. Places are limited and demand is high - so don't miss out!"
