A SIGNED photo of the Beatles and fan album estimated to be worth at least £1,000 have been found at a home near Teddington.

The photo appears to have been signed by all four members of the 1960s group - though the most clearly visible signatures are those of George Harrison, Paul McCartney and and Ringo Starr.

It will be auctioned along with the "long forgotten" 1960s Beatle fan's album where it was found.

The album and photo were discovered by London auctioneers Hansons during a home visit last month

Both items will be sold as one lot in an auction on February 26, to be held at their sale-room in Normansfield Theatre.

The guide price for both items is between £1,000 and £2,000.

It comes after news last week that Beatles memorabilia will be sold as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) by John Lennon's son Julian.

"Lennon Connection: The NFT Collection" includes images of clothes worn by John Lennon, guitars he played, and the song-notes for 'Hey Jude' by Paul McCartney, plus commentary by Julian Lennon on the items.

The most expensive piece of Beatles memorabilia ever sold is John Lennon's 'lost' Gibson guitar, which went for $2.4 million at auction in 2015.

Home visits by Hansons is a free service where people can arrange for an antiques valuer to come to their home to assess items they are considering consigning to auction.

Hansons London also offers free antique/collectables/jewellery valuations every week at the Normansfield Theatre in Teddington by appointment.
