Richmond Upon Thames ranks in top 200 in 'Best Places To Live 2024' list for England and Wales

The borough of Richmond Upon Thames has ranked in the top 200 in a report of the best and worst places to live in England and Wales this year.
Property finder company Garrington has published its 2024 marketing report for England and Wales.
The report ranks the 1,429 towns, cities and villages on measures covering five categories.
These categories are natural environment, wellbeing, heritage/culture, schools, employment and connectivity and house price quality and value.
Garrington also lists the average family home cost and average sales price change across the last 12 months in each settlement.
Where does Richmond rank in the 2024 Garrington report?:
Out of the 1,429 places, Richmond has ranked 177 overall.
Out of the categories Richmond ranked the best for heritage/culture at 13 and worst for wellbeing at 972.
Natural environment is ranked at 948, school, employment, and connectivity at 347 and house price quality and value at 178.
According to Garrington, the average family home cost in Richmond is £1,229,585, with an average sales price change of 2.4% in the last 12 months.
