Richmond Park Minibus joins Britain’s Quirkiest Routes

It is not often you get the chance to ride on a celebrated bus route, but the Richmond Park Minibus has just been awarded sixth place in the top ten of Britain's Quirkiest Bus Routes.
The free, volunteer-run, transport service operates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, until the end of November 2025.
The service helps visitors get better access to Richmond Park and runs between all the Richmond Park car parks: Ladderstile Gate, Richmond Gate, Pembroke Lodge, Isabella Plantation, and out to Ham Common and Mortlake Station.

The minibus is fully accessible with a ramp and steps to aid access. Wheelchair users wishing to use the service should contact [email protected].
The Royal Parks supports this service, which is funded by private donations, as it allows those without access to the park the ability to enjoy the wonders of London's largest royal park.
You can find out more information, a timetable and route map via The Royal Parks website.
