Surrey Police has received multiple reports over the suspicious behaviour of man in East Molesey, near Hampton Court, including one where a woman was left feeling "extremely shaken" after being followed.

The volume of reports and sightings in the past week led to schools issuing alerts to parents and carers to stay vigilant, especially when out with their families.

The man has been identified and spoken to, and no offences have been identified at this time.

The woman was said to have been followed along Vine Road around noon on Tuesday May 7, with local community groups also sharing warnings.

Surrey Police has said the man has since been spoken to, although no offences have been identified.

"This individual's behaviour is concerning and we want to ensure the safety of everyone in our community. Whilst we do not want to cause undue alarm, we believe it is important to remain vigilant and take precautionary measures.
