Police have moved in to break up a large gathering of youths at Teddington Lock.

Earlier this evening revellers were seen heading to wooded areas on the Ham side of the bridge, carrying drinks and playing music.

A police car and van arrived at around 8pm and swiftly moved in to disperse the gathering, with officers warning that those who stayed were at risk of being fined.

Another van arrived later and police officers were seen patrolling the area outside the bridge.

Youths were still leaving the area at around 9pm.

Nub News will continue to bring you updates as they happen.
