An application has been submitted to turn the vacant orthodontic practice on 7 Alpha Road in Teddington into residential dwellings.

The application, submitted by Valerii Zhukhov, asks for a "change of use from a vacant orthodontic practise (Use Class E) to a Residential dwelling (Use Class C3) with associated changes to fenestration".

The site is 210.39 square metres.

Should the application be approved, Zhukov hopes to begin working on the exchange in January and to have the work completed by June.

The former orthodontic practice closed on 23 July 2021 and has since been vacant.

It is hoped that the residential dwelling will be a two-person bed space with a double bedroom.

The council is yet to approve the plans.
