Plans have been submitted to Richmond Council to display an illuminated sign board outside a wine bar in Teddington.

Primitivo Club, located on Broad Street, hopes to display a fascia sign of 0.4 metres in height and 2.8 metres in width outside its building.

The new sign would be made of Aluminium and plastic frame and will have gold and blue text over a black background.

This application follows complaints made by The Teddington Society about the appearance of venues on the town's high street.

Teddington's M&S recently underwent an exterior revamp.
