An application has been submitted to convert a Teddington office into flats

Submitted to Richmond Council on 22 April by Gerald House Ltd, the plans outline new designs for three self-contained flats within the building.

George House on Claremont Road has been used as an office since 2004 by Corbett & Co International Construction Lawyers Ltd, who are now known as George Claremont Ltd.

The street is described as "residential in character" in the planning statement submitted by applicants.

If accepted, the proposed changes would see changes made to create two two-bed flats and a single one-bed flat.

Exterior changes include provisions for bike racks and residential waste disposal, while the two parking spaces currently used by the office would be retained for use by the larger two flats.

Neighbours are currently being consulted on the plans, and are able to submit comments for another two weeks, until 6 June through Richmond Council's website here.
