There is lots to do in and around Teddington to keep the kids entertained this October Half Term, so we have created a list of five places hosting Half Term events.
October Half Term sports and activity camps at The Lensbury
The Lensbury is hosting a variety of sports and activity camps for kids this October Half Term.
The Lensbury runs Tennis camps, Water sport courses, and a variety of other sporty and creative activities for kids from five years old and up.
Whether they want to unleash their inner artist with The Lensbury's Arts & Crafts camp or wish to try their hand at one of its water sports, there is something for every kid.
The Lensbury's October Kid's Camp for five – 12-year-olds and its Tennis Camps for five – 11-year-olds run from Monday, 27 October to Friday, 31 October.
However, its Junior Watersports Camp runs from Monday, 20 October to Friday, 31 October.

Halloween Half Term at The Lensbury
This October Half Term, The Lensbury is also celebrating the spookiest time of the year in style with its Halloween-themed kids' activities.
The Lensbury's Halloween-themed Half Term is going to be a week full of frightful fun, featuring everything from classic pumpkin carving to the spookiest sleepover.
The Lensbury's Halloween Half Term full schedule is as follows:
6pm – 8pm on Friday, 24 October – Free Halloween Movie Night (5+ Years Old)
Enjoy a spooky screening of Hotel Transylvania (rated U) in The Lensbury's Soft Play area, accompanied by tasty treats.
1pm – 3pm on Monday, 27 October – Scary Biscuit Making (6+ Years Old)
Join The Lensbury at the Club House Restaurant for an afternoon of creepy biscuit baking and decorating. This event costs £15 for Members and £19 for Non-Members.
6pm – 9am on Tuesday, 28 October – Spooky Sleepover (8+ Years Old)
Join The Lensbury at the Soft Play area for an evening of fun games, a Halloween movie (rated U), a swim with music, hot chocolate before bed, and pancakes in the morning. This event costs £52 for Members and £63 for Non-Members.
1.30pm – 2.30pm on Wednesday, 29 October – Free Family Float Session (All Ages)
Enjoy an afternoon of fun for the whole family in The Lensbury's Pool. Kids under eight years old must have an adult with them in the water at all times.
1.30pm – 2.30pm on Thursday, 30 October – Pumpkin Carving (7+ Years Old)
Join The Lensbury at the Creche for a pumpkin carving session – supervised with carving tools and templates, it is a great chance for kids to be creative and bring their masterpieces home. This event costs £10 for Members and £15 for Non-Members.
6pm – 7.30pm on Friday, 31 October – Halloween Party (5+ Years Old)
Hit the dancefloor, show off your spookiest outfits, and join The Lensbury for fun party games at the Soft Play area. The best dressed little monster will receive a prize. This event costs £15 for Members and £19 for Non-Members.

Bushy Park Activity Camp
Bushy Park Activity Camp is returning this October Half Term for three days of activities.
Running from 27 – 30 October, the camp will be delivering a mix of sporting activities throughout the week, ranging from football, dodgeball and archery to team games, creative Halloween themed challenges, and exciting arts and crafts.
It is a fantastic way for children to stay active, make new friends, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment.
Bushy Park Activity Camp is OFSTED registered and accepts a variety of childcare payments, including Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare.
The camp is for children aged five – 12.

Halloween at Horace Walpole's Gothic Castle
This Half Term, Strawberry Hill House will transform into the stage of Horace Walpole's darkest imaginings.
Here, in his "little Gothic castle," the Gothic was born: one night in 1764 Walpole dreamt of a giant armoured hand on a staircase and awoke to write The Castle of Otranto — the world's first Gothic novel.
Walpole even coined a word, "gloomth," to capture the sublime mix of shadow and warmth he cultivated here.
As he said: "with a Gothic house, all you need to bring is your imagination, and the House will do the rest!"
From 25 October - 2 November, the house will return to that very atmosphere: shutters drawn, rooms alive with flickering candlelight, and ghostly treasures revealed.
Building on the success of the venue's Flower Festival, guest curator Gaia Eros will transform Strawberry Hill's interiors with botanical installations in darker, uncanny forms — from spectral figures fashioned from nature's remnants to shadowy arrangements that entwine Walpole's Gothic stage set.

Half Term Workshops at Happy Potter
Happy Potter in Teddington is hosting various spooktacular half-term workshops from Monday, 27 October – Friday, 31 October for children aged six and over.
The workshops include Ghastly Handprint Clay Dishes, Autumn Mug Painting, and more, as well as a Halloween party on the final day on Friday, 31 October.
The workshops run from 10am - 12pm (except for the party on the 31 October, which will run from 3pm - 5pm).
