A NEW beer delivery service bringing cans to customers in under 15 minutes is being trialled in Teddington this week.

Craft beer giant Brewdog has partnered with grocery delivery start-up Jiffy, which has a base on Teddington's Princes Road, to launch the service 'Brewdog Express.'

12-packs of the brand's beers including Punk IPA, Lost Lager and Hazy Jane will be available on Brewdog's website for delivery via e-bike within a 2-mile radius of Teddington.

News of the service comes after residents of Princes Road complained of light and noise pollution and traffic disturbances from trucks delivering to 24 hour grocery delivery services on the road.

Jiffy and rival online groceries app Getir both have sites on the road, and last year their competitor Zapp also applied for a licence to open a premises there.

If the trials in Teddington and Islington are successful, other brands may opt to use 'Jiffy Q-Commerce as a Service' which aims to get products delivered to customers in under 15 minutes.
