Good Causes and charitable organisations are queuing up to join the new community lottery GET LUCKY LOCAL which offers players the chance to CHOOSE which specific group they want to support in the Richmond Borough.

In less than a week nearly 30 groups from the sports, the arts and the charity sectors have uploaded their profiles to the GET LUCKY LOCAL website since tickets first went on sale for the £1 a ticket online draw last Tuesday. The first draw takes place on November 14th so there is still plenty of time to sign up.

Those organisations which have signed up include Hampton & Richmond Borough Youth FC, Richmond Good Neighbours, the NPL Sports Club, Ham & Petersham SOS, Ruils which supports children and adults with disabilities, Teddington Cricket Club, Crossroads Care, Richmond Talking Newspaper, Hampton Hill Cricket Club, Teddington Theatre Club, Hearts of Teddlothian FC. Skylarks and Dose of Nature, St James's Church, Hampton Hill, The Victoria Foundation and Half Back Sports.

Several organisations have already signed up enough players and supporters to reach their fund raising targets even BEFORE tickets go on sale.

Players can win cash prizes ranging from a £25.000 jackpot to £2500, £250 and £250 as well as non-cash prizes for the first draw of an iPad and case of champagne.

Unlike the National Lottery players can select which organisations will benefit from GET LUCKY LOCAL. 50p from every £ will go to the Good Causes in the community and other 10p will go into a general fund to benefit local community groups.
