Met Police launch an investigation following a fatal collision in Hounslow

The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation after a fatal collision at a Hounslow junction on Saturday 5 August.

Hounslow police officers were dealing with an unrelated matter at 3:51am when they discovered a pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a car on the A4 Great West Road, at the junction with Brook Lane North, Brentford.

London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance paramedics attended however, despite their attempts the 22-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers have informed his next of kin.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.

Road closures at the junction are in place.

Enquiries are led by Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.

Any witnesses or those with dash cam footage are asked to call police via 101 ref CAD 1090/5 Aug.
