UPDATE: Police investigate stabbinng of 31-year-old man in Surbiton

A man has been taken to hospital following a stabbing in Surbiton over the weekend.
The incident happened in North Road just after 2pm on Sunday (26 October).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man injured.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to a hospital in London.
The air ambulance landed in nearby Victoria Recreation Ground to provide assistance.

The condition of the man is not known at this stage, and it has not yet been revealed if arrests have been made.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called on Sunday (October 26) at 2.01pm to reports of a stabbing in North Road, Surbiton.
"We sent resources including ambulance crews, an incident response officer and London's air ambulance.
"We treated a man at the scene before taking him to a London major trauma centre."
A Met police spokesperson told Nub News: "On Sunday, 26 October at 13:58hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing on North Road, Surbiton.
"Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 31-year-old man before taking him to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
"No arrests have been made. An investigation is underway and anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 3961/26OCT25."
