Teddington and Hampton Wick Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) officers and a police response team arrested a prolific suspect involved in domestic violence, threatening behaviour, and causing fear among the public in Hampton Wick earlier this month.

The incident began in the Bucklands Road area of Hampton Wick and the suspect then moved to Broad Street Teddington where he committed several offences.

The man has been charged and remanded at this stage. He will remain in custody until his court date in February.

A spokesperson for the Teddington and Hampton Wick SNT told Nub News: "The incident took place on 9th December from 5.30pm. It started in the Hampton Wick area and then the individual moved to Teddington where he committed a number of offences.

"He was seen by PCSO Panduma Munetsi to be acting suspiciously and she was able to direct Response team officers to effect his arrest. The Hampton Wick dedicated ward officer was also involved in his arrest."
