LOCAL photographer Cathy Cooper is a familiar face at events in and around Teddington, usually with her battery of cameras at the ready.

But this week she received VIP status when she was given exclusive access to the visits of the two regiments of the Household Cavalry, The Lifeguards and The Blues and Royals for their 'day out' in Bushy Park.

She was given a place in the safety vehicle accompanying the soldiers and their famous horses which gave her close-up access to capture these stunning images which she has given Teddington Nub News special permission to reproduce in this photo gallery.

Thank you Cathy!
