At the exhibition, Lloyd displayed her paintings and said she hosted it as a way to gauge the public's reaction to her work and to share her creative journey with others.

The artist only started taking art classes 18 months ago.

Speaking about the exhibition, she told Teddington Nub News: "I'm delighted that my first exhibition was such a success and that so many people were complimentary about my paintings.

"I'd like to thank everyone for coming to make my day such a wonderful occasion.

"I'm proud of myself for putting my art on display (for the first time). Many thanks to the Teddington Methodist Church for providing the tables for me to display my art. I'm most grateful for the way the entire exhibition went."
