A local artist is inviting the community to come along to her very first art exhibition this Saturday (1 November).

Patty Lloyd, who lives in Teddington, will be displaying her paintings at Teddington Methodist Church on Stanley Road between 12 noon and 1pm.

Lloyd says she is hosting the event as a way to gauge the public's reaction to her work and to share her creative journey with others.

"This is my first exhibition, and I just want to see what people think of my paintings," she said.

She added: "I only started art classes 18 months ago, and as a wheelchair user, I'm quite proud of my achievements."

The event is open to everyone, and Lloyd is encouraging local residents to drop in, browse her artwork, and offer feedback.

Juice and biscuits will be available.

Teddington Methodist Church is located on Stanley Road, a short walk from the town centre.
