Local artists to feature in exhibition at Hampton Court House
By Carla Terry 18th Mar 2026
Various local artists will be exhibiting at Hampton Court House this weekend.
Carla Terry of Red Robin Art Academy will be joined by other local artists at this weekend's exhibition.
Speaking about the exhibition, Terry said: "If you fancy honing your own skills, I offer fine art lessons for both adults and children from my home studio in Hampton Wick.
"I'm afraid everything's full at the moment but do get in touch if you'd like to jump on a waiting list or be added to my kids holiday workshop mailing list."
Having been an art teacher at primary and secondary schools for 25 years, Terry decided to create a studio in her home on Seymore Road behind Hampton Station in September 2023 where she began Red Robin Arts Academy.
She told Nub News that her interest in art began when she joined adult art classes.

She said: "the adult classes are where I did most of my learning, so I'm sort of self-taught.
"The adult classes inspired me to finally take the leap and set up my own."
Terry runs nine classes a week for artists of all abilities from Kingston, Teddington, and Hampton Wick.
Her studio has got "all the materials in it, so no one has to bring anything," she said.
Terry's students work with a range of different tools, from oil paints to charcoal to pen and ink, and collage.
She says that she has got "some really talented students who've been to art college and work in the arts".
Terry added: I've also got disabled students and students with special needs as well as a lady who's had a stroke."
Her students' ages range from nine to ninety.
In September 2024, Red Robin Arts Academy members were announced as runners up at the Friends of Bushy and Home Parks Art Competition
