Landmark Arts Centre to host Spring Art Fair next month

he Landmark Arts Centre is holding its Spring Arts Fair from Friday 16 to Sunday, 18 May with tickets available online or in person.

The venue holds bi-annual arts fairs in order to give locals the opportunity to discover artists who are not only showing their latest work, but selling it directly to the visitors. 

A wide variety of styles and mediums are on offer, including Fine Art in oil and watercolour, graphic designs, photography, sculpture, and ceramics, from over 70 stands. 

Artists featured this year include:

Twickenham-based Harriet Hyde Brimmer's whose work features local landmarks and the English  countryside.

To create the colours and dark, ombre effects that are synonymous with her moody pieces she favours oil on primed linen.

Amanda Nester whose vibrant watercolour and oil paintings cover a variety of subjects from botanical studies and landscapes to architecture and express her fascination with intricate patterns.

She is qualified in both Fine Art and Illustration and exhibits at galleries throughout the UK.

Surrey-based Jennifer Greenland who has a painting in the Royal Collection and paints landscapes in oils responding to the mood of the season or the day.

She has exhibited in London's Mall Galleries and with the Royal Society of Marine Artists.

Surrey-based Anthony Shelton who is a "plein air" painter of landscapes and seascapes.

He travels throughout Britain and Europe always drawn to water and reflections.

Lily Glover is a photographic artist inspired by the fragility of our natural world.

Her artworks explore a sense of space, movement and light, each dimension a suggestion nature's transient beauty and impermanence.

Refreshments will be available during the fair. 

Parking on-site is not available unless pre-booked for disabled visitors.

The Spring Art Fair will be open from 4pm - 8.30pm on Friday, 16 May, and 10am - 5pm on Saturday, 17 May and Sunday, 18 May.

Tickets cost £5 for Concessions and £4 for Landmark Arts Centre Friends while under 16s can attend for free.
