The Landmark Arts Centre has announced today a series of brand-new acts that will form part of the centre's autumn music programme.

Black Umfolosi kick things off on 17 September. The self-taught Acapella singing and traditional dance group from South Africa use music and dance to attract people from other cultures and to challenge negative stereotypes about the developing world.

The group have become firm favourites across the globe with people of all ages and culture due to their ability to communicate passion and feeling in their shows.

Their trademark harmonies mixed with intricate rhythms, clicking and clapping are central to their brilliantly choreographed shows.

Moving onto October, two renowned voices of the British R&B scene take to the stage October 2. Maggie Bell and Dave Kelly on-stage chemistry is immediately apparent, stemming from their love and respect from the music they play.

Maggie Bell, 'Scotland's Queen of Soul', is the founder member of Stones the Crows and has also enjoyed an incredibly successful solo career on both sides of the Atlantic.

Guitarist Dave Kelly has worked with a host of talented musicians including Son House, Howlin Wolf, John Lee Hooker, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells and is a founder member of the Blues Band.

A wonderful evening lies ahead of blues, soul and a little humour from the brilliant acoustic duo.

Remaining in October, acoustic singer/songwriter Keith James heads to the Landmark for his 'Concert for a Changing World'.

The concert celebrates unique and timeless songs of vision, question and change, from song writing icons including Joan Baez, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, Maya Angelou, Leonard Cohen and Neil Young.

Keith, a life-long devotee of emotional performance, approaches each song with fresh courage and passion, provoking both reflection and reconciliation and he will be donating a portion of his fee to DEC Ukrainian appeal.

The queens of banjopunk, three Swedish sisters by the names of Baskery, headline the Landmark November 24.

The trio who have played music since they were old enough to hold an instrument, play a combination of classic 'roots music and Americana' with a twist of rule breaking punk, turning this much-loved style of music on its head.

Their sound oozes style and playfulness and has helped them accrue a number of plaudits and accolades.

On the live scene Baskery are experienced in putting on a show having played over 400 of their own. In 2015, they joined Robbie Williams as opener and special guest on his arena-tour throughout Europe.
