Earlier this month, St Mary's University's campus on Waldegrave Road was transformed into a fictional Cheltenham hospital for a new Netflix film starring Kate Winslet.

As part of the filming for the new film, Goodbye June, the campus was transformed into Princess Mary Hospital Cheltenham with a Main Entrance sign and the car park filled with filming crew.

Upon walking past the campus while filming was in place, one local resident said: "There was even fake snow".

As well as starring alongside Toni Collette, Johnny Flynn, Andrea Riseborough, Timothy Spall, and Helen Mirren, Winslet will also be directing the film.

This will be the first film the Titanic star has directed.

A synopsis for the film reads: "Goodbye June is a present day, fictional drama, set in England.

"A touching, yet humorous story which sees a fractured group of siblings pull together under sudden and trying circumstances."
