A Teddington lockdown couple have set up a specialist shop for dog owners, selling everything from home-made treats to patterned poop bag holders.

Lisa Wyborn and her partner Lee Emery, of Waldegrave Road, opened their online store Ruff Dogs last month.

Lisa, who is highly involved with local community group Teddington Together, told Nub News she had the idea for the business while at the new Trader's Market she helped organise.

She said: "On the first day we realised there were so may dog owners attending, but no stall for them.

"That's when we also realised that no-one on the area really catered for dogs - so we decided to do it ourselves."

Lisa and Lee, who both work full time, set up the new business and brand in just two weeks.

You can meet the Ruff dogs team atTeddington Trader's market tomorrow.

The market is a fantastic new initiative by Teddington Together and the Anglers pub, allowing independent businesses without a physical storefront to showcase their products and meet the community.

It takes place every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month in the Anglers car park, near Teddington Lock.

It is open from 9am to 1pm and free to look around.

The market returns tomorrow (Saturday 28 August) and it's well worth a visit - both for humans and dogs!
