Fancy an alternative day out?

Family-owned local company Colliers Launches has restarted boat trips from Richmond to Teddington Lock.

The boat company returned to their Richmond landing stage near Gauchos on Easter Sunday, running 45-minute cruises on the hour from midday to 4pm.

It was the company's first passenger trip on the Thames since October 10 last year.

Passengers were socially distanced and enjoyed stunning views of local landmarks including Ham House and the Star and Garter from their seats on the Clifton Castle boat.

Company director Danny Collier live-streamed one of the day's trips on Facebook.

The company will be running more Richmond to Teddington boat trips from Monday next week, and aim to start cruises to Hampton Court on April 18.
