Following a two-year break, the Hampton Pool Summer Picnic Concerts returns this July with brand new acts for the pool's centenary celebrations.

The concerts will run over three weekends and this year's dates are 8-9, 15-16, and 23-24 July.

Hampton Pools Trust, the governing body of the open-air swimming pool at Hampton, are the organisation behind the summer concerts, which play a vital role in financially supporting the pool's future.

Profits made from the summer celebrations will ensure the maintaining and development of associated facilities at Hampton Swimming Pool, for the benefit of all Hampton residents and beyond.

Music throughout the three weekends will entail a range of original and tribute acts. Although tickets for regularly featured Heaven 17, The Christians, The Illegal Eagles, Nearly Dan, T. Rextasy and Waterloo: Abba are all sold out, plenty remain for six exciting newcomers.

The Shires, are the UK's most successful country music export and their debut album Brave became the first-ever top 10 album by a UK country music act. Their first, second and fourth best-selling albums were also nominated at the Brit awards. They will be supported by the harmonious sibling vocals of Cardboard Fox.

The Feeling will be brining their piano and guitar driven power to Hampton Pool's concert stage and their track record of classic hits will be sure to make it a night to remember. City Funk Orchestra feature two of Britain's most popular soul singers and some of the UK's most exciting and accomplished funk and soul musicians.

Festival favourites Dodgy will play their uplifting pop this summer which will include their massive hit Good Enough, officially one of the most played tracks on British radio over the last 25 years. Toploader also feature, with their debut album Onka's Big Moka, remaining in the UK album charts for six months, which also went on to win four Brit awards.
