Hampton Bowling Club to welcome new members with open days
By Tilly O'Brien 5th May 2026
Hampton Bowling Club reopened for business last month and is set to hold open days to invite both new and experienced bowlers to its club in Carlisle Park.
The club's open days will take place on Saturday, 23 May from 2pm - 5pm, and Saturday, 13 June from 11am - 4pm.
Hampton Bowling Club said: "Try bowls for free and finish off with a cup of tea or soft drink on the club. All ages are very welcome!"
The club describes itself as "a sociable, easy going club that was founded in 1928".
It added: "We can be found in Carlisle Park, Wensleydale Road, Hampton where there is ample car parking.
"The club is affiliated to Bowls England and to the Middlesex Bowling Association.
"During the season you can play on any afternoon or evening. We have regular roll-ups on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2pm - 4pm, (arrival by 1.30pm). On those days, plus weekends, provided there are no scheduled fixtures, the green may be used from 10am for practice, individually arranged, or competitive matches.
"Friendly and league matches are played against other local clubs.
"The club is also open to the public when members are present. Flat soled
shoes must be worn."
