Kew Gardens is once again transforming into a Halloween-themed light trail this October.

Organised by the team behind the popular Christmas at Kew, the illuminated trail invites all to explore a glowing landscape with spooky surprises and installations.

Including haunted fairgrounds, Frankenstein's lab and cobwebs, the trail promises family fun within the beautiful Kew grounds after dark.

It will run from 17 to 25 October, and again from 26 October to 2 November with last entry at 8.30pm.

To decide what time to visit, there are three advertised 'scare levels'. Before 6pm is ideal for young children, 6pm - 7.30pm delivers a lightly spookier atmosphere, and 7.30pm onwards offers maximum scariness, while remaining family-friendly.

This is a ticketed event that does not include regular Kew admission and booking in advance is essential.

Ticket prices range from £16.50 - £19.50 for Members and £18.50 - £22 for Non-Members.

Family and child tickets are also available.
