Teddington residents bid farewell to the beloved Wimpy store in November after its 47-year stay on Broad Street but locals can get excited at the news a brand new brasserie will be taking over its place.

Marez Brasserie will be taking over the site which is set to open its doors to the Teddington community within the first two weeks of January 2023, Nub News can exclusively reveal.

The new establishment will be serving a range of appetising breakfasts and lunches from pancakes, ranchero, french toast and smashed avocado & poached eggs to burgers, wraps, pasta dishes and salads.

Marez is set to offer Teddington residents an alternative to the highly popular Cafe Benedict but with a focus on day time dining.

News of Marez Brasserie landing on Broad Street marks one of a number of new stores set to set up shop in Teddington in 2023 including Planet Organic which will replace the former Johnson's Shoes and the British Heart Foundation, set to open its doors on February 7 2023.
