Well in even more promising news construction has now begun on the rink.

The rink this year will open on December 5th - two weeks tomorrow!

Originally the rink was scheduled for November 20th but this latest lockdown delayed this.

The Hampton Court ice skating usually attracts thousands every year.

It will be a bit different this year with strict COVID guidelines in place but as an outside activity in its measures enforced it will still be both safe and enjoyable.

Here's how the Palace describe the ice rink:

"This open-air ice rink offers you the chance to glide across the ice under a star-covered sky while surrounded by spectacular views of the historic Tudor palace.

"Whether you're looking for a memorable ice-skating experience or a place to catch up with your loved ones, you are assured magical memories that you will cherish for years to come."

The rink will be open until January 17th.
