A former antique clock shop in Teddington could be converted into a studio flat.

A planning application has this week been submitted to convert the site of the former Old Father Time, located in Stanley Road, into a studio flat.

The applicant, Charles van den Berg of Bergraf Developments, is seeking permission for the "Conversion of existing commercial space into studio flat".

Should Richmond Council approve this application, van den Berg expects the development to be completed by July this year and the flat will be on the market to rent.

The flat will consist of one room at 41.4 square metres of gross internal floor area (GIA) per unit.

Richmond Council expect to make a decision on this application by 19 March 2026.

You can view the full application here.
