Firefighters called to tackle house blaze in Hampton

Firefighters were called to tackle a fire at a detached house in Hanworth Road, Hampton earlier. Part of the first floor and roof are alight, according to London Fire Brigade.

According to reports one man left the property before the Brigade arrived. He is being treated for smoke inhalation.

The house fire was quickly brought under control and part of the first floor and roof were damaged by the blaze. Firefighters will remain on scene throughout the afternoon.
