Filming for popular BBC series Antiques Roadshow took place at Ham House last week, attracting the attention and curiosity of local residents.

As we previously reported , production for the show started on Thursday 24 June and vehicles, tents and film crew could all be seen from outside the stately home.

Now Nub News reader Jenny Michell has shared exclusive photos showing filming as it took place inside the grounds of Ham House.

Visiting the historic manor on Friday 25 June, Jenny got an astonishingly close look at the production.

Her photos in the gallery above show the Antiques Roadshow white marquee and tents in the Ham House grounds, as well as tables and chairs covered by red parasols with the show's logo.

She also came across a scene involving a presenter and member of the public holding a mysterious object, that was being filmed by a low wall near the house.

Reflecting on her experience, Jenny told Nub News: "It was very different from the usual image you have of people queuing carrying various antique objects to have them assessed.

"The number of crew far exceeded those with objects to be valued when we were there because of the strict social distancing measures they had put in place."

Participants for this year's show had to apply to go on in advance and filming dates were not made available to the public.

The National Trust also restricted the number of people allowed in to visit the House as the long-running series was filmed.
