Teddington Memorial Hospital's new outpatient Pain Clinic set to open this summer

A new outpatient Pain Clinic at Teddington Memorial Hospital is set to open its doors on 1 July 2025, says The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital.
The £2.5 million project for The Woodland Suite, part-funded by the Friends, exemplifies the group's commitment to enhancing patient care.
The Woodland Suite is designed to provide a calming, patient-focused environment.

The Friends' funding of over £150,000 is designed to elevate the project significantly above the NHS interior design and comfort specifications, benefiting patients and staff through improved well-being.
Key features include two therapeutic gardens: a sensory garden behind the Pamela Bryant Ward and a restored Memorial Garden, both featuring new water installations and enriched planting.
The clinic will also showcase artwork from the children's art competition, bringing warmth and creativity to the space. Additional amenities, such as a tea and coffee machine in the reception area, aim to ensure visitors feel comfortable and cared for.
Simon Douglas Lane, Chairman of The League of Friends of Teddington Memorial Hospital, said: "This project is an excellent example of what we can achieve together.
"The Woodland Suite promises to be a vital facility for patients, families and staff, and your continued support is helping us make it exceptional."
