England cricket legend Andrew Strauss will head to Teddington's The Wharf on Monday evening (May 15) for SporTedd's latest fundraising event.

The Teddington-based community organisation works to support sports-related causes across the Richmond borough and has raised over £60,000 since first launching in 2020.

Money is raised through fundraising dinners and Q&A's with sporting stars across the industry at Teddington's riverside restaurant The Wharf, with previous guests including Formula One champion Damon Hill, former Barcelona and Tottenham striker Gary Lineker, Broadcasting and Tennis icon Sue Barker and rugby trio Lawrence Dallaglio, Kenny Logan and Conor O'Shea.

Match of the Day host and England football legend Gary Lineker is just one of the star-studded guests who have been in attendance for previous SporTedd events

Guests in attendance for the latest SporTedd event on Monday are in for a treat with former England cricket captain Sir Andrew Strauss set to take centre stage.

The Ashes-winning captain will be on hand to provide a fascinating insight into his glittering cricket career and his work behind the scenes since retiring.

A few tickets still remain for the not to be missed evening which also includes a drinks reception and dinner before the interview gets underway at 9pm.

To purchase yours now, or to find out more regarding SporTedd's work and how you can get involved, visit the organisation's website here.
