Edinburgh Fringe pantomime to be performed at Hampton Hill Theatre this month
A pantomime which was performed at Edinburgh Fringe last year is coming to Hampton Hill Theatre later this month.
MTAO Productions, a London-based theatre company, will perform its newly updated version of Bake Off: The Great British Pantomime in the theatre's Nowel Coward Studio on Saturday, 26 July at 6pm and 8pm.
The 45-minute show's synopsis reads: "The contestants on this year's Bake Off have been doing much worse than usual.
"It's almost like... sabotage? Join our crew of almost-recognisable faces as they band together to defeat the world's greatest evil: Ratt Lucas. Using the power of friendship and a predictable parody (or two), will they succeed in the endeavour?
"Or will there be egg on their faces? Come and find out. We're on our way up to the Edinburgh Fringe for another year of performances—there will be puns, buns and tonnes of funs!"
Speaking about the panto, cast member, Josh Clarke, told Teddington Nub News: "It's very silly!"
The cast lineup includes:
- Josh Clarke
- Kitty Bartlett
- Poppy Baxter
- Jo Wickham
- Kylie Pearson
- Ozzie Ozgun
- Ella Barnett
- Holly Cole
- Jo Taylor
The family-friendly panto is suitable for ages 3+.
