Just this morning, Australia's Quade Cooper and Samu Kerevi were thrusted into the Barbarians' squad which also includes Wales trio Alun Wyn Jones, Rhys Webb, Taulupe Faletau and former All Black Steven Luatua.

Ahead of next week's showdown, Jones said: "I am very much looking forward to returning to Twickenham Stadium – a venue I have so many fond memories of – as head coach of the Barbarians, and I'm more motivated than ever to put on a show," Jones said in a statement.

"Going up against Steve rekindles a great rivalry which first started in our days competing in Super Rugby and progressed into the international arena. It'll be a great challenge and one I'm sure we're both relishing."

Next Sunday's match is set to wet the appetite for rugby fans ahead of the Autumn's World Cup in France.

Stars included in Hansen's World XI include Israel Folau, Charles Piutau, Ngani Laumape, Nick Phipps, Marika Koroibete, Semi Radradra, Api Ratuniyarawa, Simone Ferrari, Lorenzo Cannone, Rhys Patchell, Adam Hastings, Elliot Dee, Bill Mata and Fraser Brown.
