Hit CBeebies series, Waffle and The Wonder Dog, which is for kids aged four to seven, is being filmed in Teddington.

The series is being filmed in Normansfield Theatre on the Langdon Park estate on Kingston Road.

The show first aired in 2018 but is now making a comeback after children rediscovered the show on BBCiPlayer during COVID.

It is understood that local school children will feature in the new show.

The series is made by Richmond-based production company, Darrall Macqueen, which also made Teletubbies at Riverside Studios in Twickenham and Topsy and Tim.

Waffle is a talking dog (a red miniature poodle), who is adopted by the Brooklyn-Bell blended family after they find him in their new house.

Waffle always causes trouble, especially with cat-loving neighbour Mrs Hobbs.
