Bushy Park's Pheasantry Cafe officially reopens following three-month refurbishment
The newly-refurbished Pheasantry Café in Bushy Park has officially opened today (Tuesday) after a major three-month facelift, Teddington Nub News can reveal.
Last minute touches were being made on Monday in what the staff were describing as a 'soft opening' in case any technical glitches cropped up.
The windows of the café are all clear and the classy new oak furniture can be seen inside. There's also expected to be a new ice cream parlour which will open in a few weeks.
The popular café closed down at the end of January and the Royal Parks announced that they hoped it would reopen at the end of April. The owners Colicci were delighted to meet the deadline.
Despite the closure, the two temporary kiosks serving food and drinks have continued to attract thousands of customers who enjoy a walk or bird-watching experience in the Woodland Gardens.
As well as the Pheasantry, a new space-style kiosk in the Diana Car Park near the Diana Fountain has also opened for business.
The impressive building made of steam-bent oak also has a new dedicated seating area in front of the kiosk.
