The deer are part of what makes Bushy Park so special.

The wild animals are integral to the Royal Park - however they are not often far away from controversy.

Whether it is people feeding them or dogs chasing them there are plenty of issues surrounding the deer.

We've covered the issues a lot - but tonight they will be getting national attention.

On this evening's edition of The One Show (BBC One, 7pm) the deer will be appearing on primetime.

Alongside them will be Bushy Park assistant manager Bill Swan.

Bill will be appearing on the programme to remind visitors of measures you must take around the deer.

The main one being that you should always stay 50m away from these magnificent animals.

That is because they are wild animals and are very unpredictable when close up.

It is important we all enjoy the deer - but only from a safe distance.
