Wild water swimming enthusiasts Dan and Ryan were up with the lark for a Sunday morning dip in the River Thames this morning.

The set up their small 'base' on the towpath on the Kingston side of Teddington Lock footbridge and startled cyclists and walkers as they stripped off for action in chilly temperatures.

They wore swimming hats and took bright orange visibility floats to ensure they could be seen clearly in the river.

Dan said:"It's fine once you're in!"
