In September, for its second year, the Awesome Studios will be hosting the Teddington Artists prestigious Contemporary Art Fair.

The event is to be held on 7 and 8 September from 10am to 6pm and 11am to 4pm, and over twenty talented artists will be exhibiting at Awesome Studios' new venue on Teddington High Street.

The venue is housed in the old Lloyds Bank building which has been reimagined by Awesome Studios into superb gallery and studio space.

Teddington Artists is a lively group of local professional artists which was founded in 1990.

For over 24 years, the annual show has been held in many impressive and interesting venues, including Bushy House, the Atrium at the National Physical Laboratories, Hampton House School, Normansfield Theatre and Strawberry Hill House.

The latest venue is the highly accessible Awesome Studios, which has completely transformed the building interior.

While the external entrance is unchanged, the interior is cleverly redefined as three fine dance studio rooms and reception area and it provides an excellent space to display the varied talents of the Teddington Artists and guests.

You can expect to see a varied selection of paintings, prints and drawing in many media as well as exquisite jewellery intriguing sculptures, metal and textile work and photography at the event.

Wick Hutton of Teddington Artists said: "This show offers a fantastic opportunity for local artists to display their work and for people to visit a quality contemporary art fair on their doorstep."

Entry to the fair costs £3.
