Looking for something Christmassy to do in Teddington this weekend?
Here's our pick of the unmissable events in and around our town which are bound to get you in the festive mood.
FRIDAY and SUNDAY: Cinderella at Richmond Theatre
Richmond Theatre plays host to the most magical ball in all the kingdom, in the company of the King of Ballroom Anton Du Beke as Buttons.
Packed with all of the traditional panto ingredients audiences expect, Cinderella features laugh-out-loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses.
Catch the show on Friday 10 December at 1pm or 7pm, or go on Sunday 12 December at 1pm or 5pm. Tickets from £13 except for the 5pm Sunday show where prices start at £19.
FRIDAY and SATURDAY: Loot by Joe Orton at Hampton Hill Theatre
Riotous slapstick meets dubious morals in Orton's outrageous comic masterpiece about two young friends who stash the proceeds of a bank robbery in an occupied coffin, then must hide it from an array of characters.
An alternative Christmas show by Teddington Theatre Club that's bound to have audiences chuckling in their seats.
Warning: The play contains language appropriate to the time and place and is not suitable for children.
The show is on at 7.45pm Friday 10 December and 6pm on Saturday 11. Tickets are £15, £12 for members.
SATURDAY AFTERNOON: Rag wreath making for Children at Teddington Constitutional Club
A fun and festive up-cycled rag wreath class led by experienced tutor Jesse Crowther. Create a sustainable, funky wreath that can be used again and again each year.
All materials are included, together with juice and festive biscuits - kids can bring along any fabric and ribbons they'd like to add, too!
Suitable for children aged 8 years upwards when unaccompanied, or younger children can come along if accompanied by an adult.
The class is from 3 – 4.30pm on Saturday 11 December and costs £25 to attend.
SATURDAY EVENING: Twickenham Choral at the Landmark Arts Centre
Twickenham Choral returns for their first concert in almost two years with an exciting line-up of Baroque music accompanied by the Brandenburg Baroque Soloists.
Pieces include Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach's elaborate setting of the Magnificat and Handel's much-loved Dixit Dominus - a showpiece for singers and string players alike.
The show starts at 7.30pm, with doors & bar open at 6.45pm.
Tickets are £22 for adults, £11 for under-18s and full-time students.
