The latest on the Landmark Arts Centre as it opens its doors again

It has been a busy period for the Landmark Arts Centre as people are finally allowed back into the centre after months away.

So here is what has been happening in Teddington's number one arts venue and what's coming up over the next few weeks.

Summer Arts School gets underway

A sold out workshop with Teddington artist Louise Anderson opened this year's programme on August 1st.

Louise is running two more workshops - Creative Mindfulness Drawing on August 8th & Printmaking With Recycled Materials on August 15th.

There are some places left for both workshops; call on 020 8977 7558 to book your place.

Landmark Summer Art Salon - Opens This Friday 7th August

The Salon takes place Friday 7 – Sunday 9 August, Friday 14 – Sunday 16 August and Friday 21 – Sunday 23 August.

With 40 artists showing a diverse range of work and the Woodland Garden turned into an outdoor sculpture space, this event will be the perfect way to support both the Landmark and local artists.

A full list of exhibiting artists can be found HERE and the exhibition is open for three weekends, so plenty of time to book your slot.

Remember: booking in advance is essential as entry will be by timed ticket only to ensure everyone can have an enjoyable experience in a socially distanced way.

Mark Thomas Walking The Wall : Tuesday 11th August - 7.30pm

Mark Thomas continues his #lockdown livestreams and supporting independent venues like the Landmark at the same time. 20% from every ticket purchased via this link goes to the Landmark so please get your ticket from The Landmark! It's only a fiver and you can tune in and enjoy some top notch comedy from the comfort of your sofa.

In this show, never one to take the easy option, Mark decided to go rambling in the Middle East and walked the entire length of the Israeli Barrier crossing between the Israeli and the Palestinian side. This is the story of 300,000 settlers; a 750 km wall; six arrests, one stoning; too much hummus and a simple question... can you ever get away from it all with a good walk?

While things are far from back to normal for the centre they would like to extend their continued thanks to the people of Teddington for all the donations they have made.
