Suspected unexploded bomb found in Teddington Garden

A suspected unexploded bomb has been found in a Teddington Garden.

Police sealed off Kingston Lane, Langham Road, King Edwards Grove and Cromwell Road and hundreds of residents were evacuated.

Police described it as a suspect World War Two bomb.

One resident said: "someone found a big piece of metal in their garden".

The area of Teddington in question suffered heavy bombing during the Second World War.
