Storm Eunice: Huge tree crashes into Teddington house and garages

A HUGE tree has snapped and crashed into a row of garages and nearby house in Teddington as Storm Eunice continues to cause havoc across London.

The tree by broke apart before 12.51pm today, smashing into the car park and garages of the Redlands Flats on Cromwell Road, near Teddington high street.

Photos shared with Teddington Nub News show significant damage to at least one of the garages.

There also appears to be damage to the roof of the nearby house where tiles have come off.

Update: Photos posted to Twitter by Hampton Police show another tree has fallen down over a Teddington driveway.

The force said: "We are helping our colleagues on response team today and attended this incident @MPSTeddington.

"Thankfully nobody injured. Be careful out there #StormEunice"
